BNI Business Networking for South Wales - Haverfordwest, Aberystwyth, Cardiff, Swansea, Newport. Call us on 02920 003 682 to join or visit a BNI South Wales Chapter

Visitors are always welcome at the BNI South Wales Chapters.

Visiting one of our chapters will give you the opportunity to see how BNI works, network with the chapter members and also perhaps receive and/or give referrals.

If you're not ready to join there and then, you'll always be welcome to return a second time.

Do I have to pay to visit a BNI Chapter?

Cost wise, visitors to our chapters are simply asked to pay a £10 meeting fee, which includes tea, coffee and breakfast.

Do I participate in the meeting?

Yes, just so you can get a feel for things, once the members have all delivered their own '60 second slot' you are also given the opportunity to introduce yourself and business.

You may also participate in the referral section of the meeting.

If you feel like you have a referral to pass after listening to the other members 60 seconds then you are welcome to do so.
You are also able to receive referrals for your own business

How do I join if I like it?

Joining BNI is quite simple. Visitors are given the opportunity to join a chapter during the weekly meetings and membership forms are readily available from Visitor Hosts as well as the Treasurer, Membership Coordinator or Chapter Director.

Compared to cost of other common forms of promotion (e.g. Yellow Pages or local paper/radio advertising) and given the steady flow of referral business enjoyed by most BNI members, we're sure you'll recognise this opportunity as excellent value for money.

Besides the cost to join BNI, visitors should also consider the commitment they need to make to ensure success.

Networking requires commitment.
The most successful chapters of BNI are comprised of participants who are sincerely committed to helping one another through networking.

They are a team. As a participant in BNI, you are responsible for complying with the policies and guidelines of the organisation.

  • Only one person from each profession is permitted to join a chapter of BNI.
  • Attendance is critical. If you cannot attend a meeting, you may send a substitute. This will not then count as an absence.
  • Members are required to participate in the group by either bringing bona-fide referrals and/or visitors to their BNI chapter.
  • Once you've applied to join, your references will be taken up (two are required) and your membership payment processed.
All being well, we'd hope to welcome you into the chapter the week after you apply.
